This interview with KAYR was powerful! From a young age, he was determined to have a better life and achieve financial freedom. He told himself that when he was an adult he would come and buy back the block in Philadelphia. He retired from his 9-5 last year at 37 because of his real estate investments.

He purchased his first property in 2009 at an auction when the market crashed. Everyone around him said he was crazy for buying at that time, but he knew he would win in the end. 

Over the next decade, he bought 9 more single family units, then grew his portfolio to 35 units by 2019 and now he owns 135 units. His goal was to start with single family homes and slowly get into larger apartments. He hired his family to manage and clean his properties, which has grown into a cleaning and property management company. His story is a testament to sticking to your game plan, taking your time and taking action!

1. In order to be great, you have to get started. You can’t be great if you don’t get started. 
2. Don’t rush the process, master once aspect of real estate at a time. Don’t worry about what others are doing, stick to your plan 
3. Don’t be in a rush to leave your 9-5, it will allow you to save your cash flow for other investments and for the future. Delayed gratification works and it’s worth it.
