Welcome back to the Fake Ass Book Club!! This week Moni and Kat take a trip to the Republic of Gilead in Margret Atwood's acclaimed novel "The Handmaid's Tale. What a trip!!! The ladies are grateful to be in studio with @ericdizzy of the Black Widow Podcast; the audio is impeccible this week. Like always the conversation moves around…they discuss the book and make comparisons to the HULU adaptation. They also make their way to topics like theocracy (Religion ran governments, think Saudi Arabi and Iran), ratchet bible stories, patriarchy, the January 6th attempted coup in the US, and the similartittes Atwood's story has to…you guessed it… Slavery!!
