Springfield, MA: “The City of Firsts” or “Hoop City” as it is known by many nationwide, is known for a number of things. It’s the home of The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, the home of WWE legend John Cena amongst other notables, and while the crime rate has shown a decline over the past few years, the Hampden County city is still notoriously known as the most dangerous place in Massachusetts per capita. As much as we can talk about statistics and the things that tourists know, this week we welcome a real person from Springfield who actually has walked those streets and is pounding the pavement to make sure his town in in the talks of Hip-Hop as well. We gladly welcome Frank Nino: an event curator, music producer, creator of Makin Moves Ent & Bars on Deck to the pod to bridge the gap between Boston & western Mass!
