For years many people have been trying to push the agenda of “New England Hip-Hop” and have been undoubtedly unsuccessful. There can be multiple explanations for that, but mainly because only 3/6 states in the region have ever really shown any promising talent in the genre. Recently, we have had the opportunity to learn about an artist out of CT who has been making his rounds in the Hip-Hop circuits and has an undeniable sound and story to tell. This artist is from the Bridgeport area and he goes by the name of Showly! We first heard of Showly around the time we sat down with the Hartford, CT native & BSF artist Fuego Base, and we immediately took a liking to his lyrical ability. After looking into his extensive resume of work and recent appearances on platforms like “On The Radar”, “Sway in The Morning” & featuring on songs with one of our hometown staples Millyz, we knew that the “Holy One” is well on his way and we would love to learn more about him!
