Roman candles, fireflies, and sweet tea… I LOVE the Fourth of July. I love this country and the ideas that it was founded on, and I love the opportunities it has given me and my family.

But just because I love America doesn’t mean that I have to accept its DYSFUNCTION.

 It’s okay to be PROUD of your country and celebrate. And it’s okay to have a COMPLICATED relationship with this holiday.
