EP32 – Danielle and Chris Jones Infant Loss Story & Book: As Soon as Tomorrow Comes

It’s Black History Month!  We are highlight 6 books and 6 authors of books around Faith, Miscarriage, Stillbirth, Infant and Pregnancy Loss, and Hope to continue on this grief journey.

In today’s episode we have Danielle and Chris Jones.  They share their Infant Loss Story of son Chris Jr, Chris Sr.’s Journey with Multiple Sclerosis, Danielle’s breast health challenges, and how it was documented in their book As Sure as Tomorrow Comes: One Couple’s Journey through Loss and Love.  They also founded the Angel Baby Network out of the desire to help other parents who had surged pregnancy or infant loss.  

In July 2015, Christopher Jones, Sr. and Danielle Jones had their first child, Christopher Jones, Jr. Christopher, Jr., also referred to as “Junior,” was born with multiple congenital abnormalities due to a genetic defect. At 10-days-old, his short life on earth ended, but his purpose was only beginning. Out of a desire to help other parents who had suffered pregnancy and infant loss, Danielle and a friend whose son was born still, Clarissa Doggett, started the Angel Baby Network.  Their mission is to help parents who have endured a pregnancy and/or infant loss and to give them a hand to hold as they walk through such a devastating time in their lives.  We exist to ensure that parents do not go through the death of their child alone by offering resources where they can get the help they need and social gatherings where they can connect with other parents who can identify with their circumstance.  Danielle and Christopher Jones are a fun-loving couple who make sure to laugh every day.  They have weathered a variety of storms throughout their lives, all while holding on to their faith in God and their love for each other.   Founders of the Angel Baby Network, Chris and Danielle are passionate about supporting families who have endured child loss, and they seek to inspire others with their story, As Sure As Tomorrow Comes: One Couple’s Journey through Loss and Love
