Dr. Hall is among the 4% of African American Women who are MDs in the United States. This amazing doctor also has recently completed her memoir story “I Am The Beat” which she encourages readers to use their faith to navigate through hardship and uncertain times. The book is a very candid insight to her journey and perseverance in the middle of questionable situations. Dr. Kellye decided at an early age that she would pursue the medical filed however she learned over time that this field was not what she expected and quickly started looking at patients as “obstacles” to finishing tasks.
