Ep. 733 – The NFL should do the compassionate thing and postpone all games until next week

Now, let’s be real, the NFL, and it’s good ‘ol boy network of owners, are not known for doing the right thing, or the compassionate thing, when it comes to its players. But to be real – I don’t even think it’s safe for them to play this weekend.

I damn sure know it’s not safe for the Bills to play this weekend. Those men are traumatized.  Their brother is fighting for his life in the hospital and they literally watched him die and be brought back to life on the field.

But it goes beyond the Bills, and even the Bengals – players all over the league have said publicly that they have not been able to sleep and that seeing what happened to Damar Hamlin has traumatized them as well.

Simply push the games forward one week. It won’t delay the Super Bowl. Just give these players time to process this.What do you think?
