On this podcast we will discussing various topics through a Black, Queer, Feminist Lens. Our goal is elevate, educate, and empower those of us in the Black Queer community, and also to help our supporters and allies to become more knowledgeable about what we need as far as support!

On this episode Xay Dé and Mikey talk about substance abuse! Sucha festive topic for the holidays! … But during the holidays is actually when folks strongly consider using substances to relieve themselves of holiday stress, and sometimes things take a turn. These two talk about how they enjoy substances responsibly, the impact of “The War on Drugs” and how Black people are STILL being targeted for the use and possession of drugs. (They do end on a holiday song, so it’s not all gloom and doom this season!)
