Renowned professor and celebrated author Dr. Tyrene Wright returns to our classroom! Dr. Wright, a leading expert on Booker T. Washington, will bring her in-depth research to life as she explores Booker T.’s powerful relationships with Frederick Douglass, Marcus Garvey, and W.E.B. Du Bois—connections that have shaped history.  Before Dr. Wright, hear from The Garvey Nations Delxino Wilson De Barrio.  Sinclair Skinner will also share firsthand insights from his recent transformative journey to Africa and update us on the dynamic “I Love Black People” campaign.
