Deon Cole is a comic’s comic. His name has been dropped many times on our show and his appearance on People’s Party feels way overdue. Well… better late than never.

We’re thrilled to finally have the legendary comic, Blackish and Barbershop star, and creator of the fantastic special, Cole-Hearted on set. The convo between Cole, Kweli, co-host Jasmin Leigh spans the comedian’s career, drops in on fantastic stories from his early years on the Chicago stand up circuit, and dives deep into the many complexities of the Black experience in America.
