Deion Sanders not attending Pac 12 media day but has promise

While many fans and reporters were likely chomping at the bit to see what Deion Sanders had to say at Pac-12 media day, he will not be attending. The head coach revealed on Wednesday that he will be having another surgery to remove blood clots from his left leg, while also be having something done to his foot. He did however make a promise to be running in front of his team by the time their first game against TCU rolls around. While we obviously are all slightly disappointed he won’t be able to make it, we wish him a successful procedure and a speedy recovery. I also explain how this is a good chance for Charles Kelly who is going in his place to deal with media at a much larger scale than maybe he is accustomed to.

We have learned that they won’t be announcing anything on the July 21 media day, but for some reason people are shocked at this news and the fact that Colorado wants to be in the Pac-12.
