dear diary #13, were the holidays a mirror or a looking glass?

the holidays rocked my world, let’s just say I’ve always had an element of the grinch to me lol between my family dynamics in the past and the capitalism undertone of the holidays sometimes it’s just difficult for me. With that being said this past holiday I believe I started to understand what the other side feels like and why people love the holidays.
