The gang is back with another episode to Melanate Your Palate and FEED YOUR SOUL!!***SPECIAL GUEST***Jomael Young Fatherhood Program Coordinator at the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Healthy Start BrooklynThe Department of Health’s Center for Health Equity’s Healthy Start Brooklyn (HSB) initiative works to improve the health of infants, women, and families at the individual, community, and city level. The initiative specifically focuses on the neighborhoods of Brownsville and East New York. HSB supports pregnant and postpartum women − and their families − through a number of direct services that provide one-on-one support.The Healthy Start Brooklyn Fatherhood Program serves dads with either pregnant potential partners in parenting or dads that have children under the age of 18 months. The program strives to support dads and potential dads in whatever they might need in preparation and facilitation of the most wonderful journey of fatherhood! Healthy Start Brooklyn Fathers' Group is located in the Brooklyn Neighborhood Health Action Center at 485 Throop Avenue.
