On the Thursday edition of The Best of the Dan Patrick Show, Doug Gottlieb and TJ Houshmandzadeh fill in for Dan. TJ and Doug have a spirited disagreement about the transfer portal and whether or not it is good for college football. The guys give their thoughts on the AFC playoff picture. Former pro-bowl tight end Vernon Davis joins Doug and TJ to talk about what he has been up to since retiring from the NFL, namely acting in and producing films.

Reacting to Aaron Rodgers saying that he is not ruling out retirement after this season and will make a fairly quick decision about his future once this season ends, Doug and TJ give their thoughts on what Rodgers said.
