Biden Calls For Putin War Crimes Trial

President Biden calls for Putin to be put on trial for war crimes as mass graves are discovered in Bucha, a suburb Northwest of Kyiv, after Russian forces withdraw amid fears Putin could be preparing for a new large-scale offensive in Eastern Ukraine.

Rachel Denber is Deputy Director of Human Rights Watch. She joins CNN Tonight to discuss her organisation’s new report which documents “apparent war crimes” by Russian forces in Ukraine. Plus, Jake interviews Ukrainian Member of Parliament Inna Sovsun about Russia’s possible war crimes, its claim that Ukraine faked a video showing bodies in the streets in Bucha, and the reality of the satellite images which prove otherwise.
