Are we Prepared for a Monkeypox Outbreak?

On this episode of Real Physician Reacts we will be revisiting a conversation we had on our Medicine Monday series where we introduced the Lunch and Learn Community to the topic of the monkeypox virus. At the time it was more of an informational session as we had just a few cases to even discuss at the time but clearly didn’t know where we were headed.

At the time of the episode, we are currently at 2400+ cases of monkeypox just here in the United States and it does seem to not be slowing down anytime soon. After a spirited discussion on my TikTok platform, I figured it was best we revisit the discussion and try to answer a question I am getting more and more lately.
