Emma Watson broke her recent silence about J.K. Rowling on a podcast, saying she “treasures” Rowling and seemed to walk back her previous hostility toward the ‘Harry Potter’ creator over trans issues. Rowling has now issued a lengthy and scathing response that doesn’t exactly signal reconciliation. Let’s react.
