In this installment of the Detroit Worldwide Podcast, Marquis connects with former engineer turned actress and comedian, Keysha E. about her transition into the world of acting and comedy as well as the decision to bet on herself while pursuing her dreams.

Keysha also discusses her extensive acting career living in LA  and how comedy has allowed her rediscover voice and open doors to new opportunities.

About Keysha E:

Keysha E. is an actress, comedian, content creator, and entertainer based out of Los Angeles, California.

A former computer engineer raised in Detroit, MI, Keysha relocated to LA to pursue a career in acting.

She has appeared in a variety of TV shows, web series, and films including "A Fall from Grace" (written and directed by Tyler Perry), "Black Boots", "Nine Months After" (written and directed by David Tinsley), and "For the Love of Jason".

As a comedian she has appeared on REVOLT TV and is the co-host of the hit series "Black Card Off Layaway" which stars Kev On Stage.

In 2022, Keysha plans to release  a project called "Keys to the City" which is loosely based on her life and transition from Detroit to LA.
