We are back with another one, and another one after this one. AGNB Family put your hands together for the Head of Audio at the LA Times Jazmin Aguilera @ascentofjasmine (Instagram). She was once a host and a producer on “The Cut” at New York Magazine. Before that worked as an executive and senior producer at Conde Naste where she developed, produced, and scored podcasts for magazines including Pitchfork and Vogue. She also worked for the New York Times, making episodes for “The Daily,” and at “Snap Judgment” as a producer. She has a slew of awards and nominations ranging from Third Coast Audio Festival competition winner to International Women’s Media Fund Grant winner and has earned top ranks on the best podcast episodes of the year lists from IndieWire and Spotify, just to name a few. 

In this episode, we got to learn how spite motivated her to succeed, how she became a podcaster, what are her favorite comic books to collect, and why women should never allow anyone to silence their actual voices.
