Carolina Trujillo immigrated to America from Colombia, learned English, put herself through school and is now giving back to the community by creating a Northshote Latino nrewspaper La Voz AND being the executive director of the Citizens Inn👏💯

Learning how to push past judgement, racism in the workplace and school just to be able to express her true passion and purpose for giving back 💎

Carolina has held many executive roles and is a representation of female entrepreneurship, power of being a change, breaking stigma in the community and using all of her obstacles to support that

Currently running a residential program, transition program, shelter units and food pantry- we get realer than real about the need for accessible resources, the impact of homelessness of families and how to step out of your privilege to open your mindset 🔑

For 18 years she has been working with men who abuse woman at an intimate partner male education program- that helps to educate and reform with abuse offenders.

We chop it up with Carolina about stigmas of immigrants, homelessness, choices of abuse, women in corporate positions and how mental health plays into every aspect🗣🧠
