“Father’s Day 2022”

Datwan, Eddie & Riddick stops by WAGM Studio. These three men where chosen by their peers to come on our episode “Father’s Day 2022”. Datwan talked about how he grew up with his mother and stepfather in the home and how he didn’t treat him as a “step child”. Although he knew his biological dad however; they didn’t have a relationship until many years later. He also states that when his” first son was born his life changed for the better and he knew that he always wanted to be in his life”.

Riddick states that although he wasn’t in his kids life early on was because of his life style and being immature. While being raised by a single mother he didn’t want his kids to grow up the way he did with an absent father. Riddick states that “he doesn’t always get it right but he keeps trying.

Eddie a father of five children grew up in the home with his mother and two siblings and he was aware of his outside siblings as well. He states that ” he established an open line of communication and his kids can talk to him about anything. Eddie wants his legacy to be that his kids can always come to him and that he made things happen for them”. Father’s day…
