Reggie Owens is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, professional lighting designer, and the current business partner of the emerging fashion brand, StormyWeather Designs. He’s a 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry, having provided his expertise and extensive knowledge of lighting design on a number of worldwide concert tours, entertainment industry events / premiers, trade shows, corporate events, theatre plays, and several film & television projects.
Reggie started working at a special event lighting company as an alternative entrance into the music industry. Within a month, Reggie was placed on his first music tour and thus began his 30-year event lighting career as he worked his way from lighting tech to lighting designe. Reggie is currently CEO of The Minority Group, Inc. d.b.a. D-Zyn Elements. At his peak, he also began to give back to his community by donating his time to teach at-risk teens event production.
