Krystal Walton – 32 Year Old Woman Shot By Her Baby Father While Dropping Her Kids Off At Day Care

A woman in Indianapolis was shot multiple times while dropping off kids at a daycare Friday morning. Police say several children witnessed the attack on Krystal Walton around 7:30 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene. About three hours later, police received reports on the whereabouts of a vehicle allegedly used in the crime. When they arrived at that location, they say they found 33-year-old Orlando Mitchell holding a rifle. Police shot at Mitchell, and he was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Investigators say the initial incident was domestic in nature.
