Kandy G. Lopez turns yarn into stunning, larger than life portraits and proves that sometimes the best art starts with a random piece of string. This week on Stitch Please, Lisa talks with Kandy about fiber art, color, creativity, slowing down, and challenging the rules of “fine art.” Plus, Miami gets its flowers, bad lighting gets dragged, and Kandy offers one simple creative tip: go wander a craft store and see what happens.
