In April 2024, Truth’s Table hosted a Faith & Child Anti-Poverty Forum in Columbia, MD at The Harriet Tubman Cultural Center. Ekemini and Christina addressed the issue of child poverty, theological views on poverty, and the ways that Christians view people in poverty. They discuss what a biblical ethic and posture toward the poor ought to be and the work we must do as Christians to alleviate poverty through policies like the Child Tax Credit.
