Ms. Denise Burnett's journey began as a former radio broadcaster, where she ingeniously utilized the power of Caribbean music as a platform for social commentary. Through her insightful broadcasts, she fearlessly addressed the challenges and struggles of Afro-Caribbean people in Canada's face. 

Denise has been a community worker by trade for over three decades. Her extensive experience spans various roles, from frontline work to case management. Today, she proudly serves as a program manager at one of Toronto's pioneering modular homes for the chronically homeless. Through her leadership, she continues to be a beacon of hope for those who have been marginalized and overlooked. Denise is a strong voice, fighting for the rights and well-being of those who most need it.
