On this episode, we are talking with Dr. Kellye Hall. Dr. Kellye Hall is a Board Certified Emergency Physician who is currently practicing in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Hall is among the 4% of African American Women who are MDs in the United States. She has participated in various blogs as a lead columnist in blogs such as “Lovely Spirit”, “Women In White Coats” and a contributing author in the soon-to-be published “The HBCU Experience”.
This amazing doctor also has recently completed her memoir story “I Am The Beat” which she encourages readers to use their faith to navigate through hardship and uncertain times. The book is a very candid insight to her journey and perseverance in the middle of questionable situations. Dr. Kellye decided at an early age that she would pursue the medical filed however she learned over time that this field was not what she expected and quickly started looking at patients as “obstacles” to finishing tasks. Dr. Hall is not only a 2x Best Selling Author the HBCU Alumni is also the owner of NC Dance District, Inc which is a hip hop dance studio.
