Welcome back to another episode of MTAD, How’s Dad Life? Today the fellas are joined by Philadelphia’s Own Malcolm Taylor, the conversation starts with a brief talk about his upbringing. Malcolm gets into a very transparent conversation about loosing his mother at an early age and how he dealt with that (3:20). He breaks down how the loss of his mother affected him as well as his little brothers lives in different ways (5:30). The fellas use that topic to transition into a conversation about the expectations of the family members around you when you’re dealing with the loss of a parent (10:34). Malcolm then explains to us how loosing his mom affected his relationships with women as he got older (13:24). The conversation then shifts into who Malcolm is as a father, where he explains his favorite part of being a dad (17:52). The guys then as Malcom what he thinks is the most challenging part of co-parenting and any advice he could give to dads (20:36) Malcolm starts to talk about his music career, he opens up with a conversation about his son being into his music (25:29). Lou then puts Dre and Malcolm on the spot about how they know each other, doing music together, and working together in the future (33:30). Malcolm then explains to the fellas what he thinks is the one project of his you should listen to if you were just introduced to his music (42:00). The conversation ends with what it means to be a “Young God” and Malcolm’s upcoming projects and merchandise that’s being released (44:52).
