Tyus Sheppard – Digital Coordinator | GWU Masters Student | Political Activist

Bio:

Tyus Sheppard is a Digital Coordinator and Political Activist who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Political Management at Gorge Washington University with a focus on digital politics. Tyus was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the hottest cities in the country. The goal of Tyus’s work is to bring some of that heat to the frontlines of digital media by inspiring others to take on a passion and become engaged in causes that will help shape the future of the younger generation. Digital marketing has opened up the possibility of communicating with people from all walks of life and uniting them under a particular cause. While Tyus believes they have gained a great deal of experience from their current job and educational background, there is still a great deal to learn about how to use all the necessary tools to reach a wide audience through the digital medium.
