The “Junior vs. DJ Pleez” project is a collaboration between LA-based Artist/Producer, Junior (aka Brian McKnight Jr.), and Matt “DJ Pleez” Villacarte, a Fil-Am DJ & Producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. They join Heavy Rotation to share their story on how a website play catalyst to their collaboration, the importance of taking risks, and insight into their musical journey in creating authentic R&B music. Aside from our exclusive interview, we will be playing tracks from their brand new EP SoulShine, along with new music from Randell and Alfred Jasper from the Philippines.
