Understanding Eyo: The Lagos Masquerades ft Ladipo Johnson

Gangs of Lagos – Nigeria’s fist official Amazon Prime movie has started so many conversations, a key one is on the Eyo masquerades in Lagos. In the movie Eyo were referred to as the first gang in Lagos and were depicted with guns, which some Eyo members took offense to. 

So to find out more about Eyo and what they do, We had Mr Ladipo Johnson – the current secretary of Eyo Adimu on to the podcast to tell us all about Eyo.
