Ep. 785 – SHAME SHAME SHAME on the Tennessee Legislature

As you have no doubt heard by now, the state legislature in Tennessee, on a near party-line vote, decided to steal expel and remove 2 young Black legislators not just from the room, but from their elected office. It’s an abomination.

American democracy has always been more of an ideal and aspiration than a reality. But the covers were pulled off yesterday. And something that I have never seen in my lifetime happened. Today I want to shine a light on the bravery of Justin Jones and Justin Pearson and tell you what I think will happen next.
