#3681: “Culture” Doesn’t Fix Execution

podcast June 11, 2026

Background
share close

Culture does not create execution. Behavior does. I explain why many organizations try to fix performance problems by talking more about culture, values, and vision when the real issue is a lack of standards and accountability. Culture only becomes real when behaviors are consistently enforced and backed by consequences. Without that enforcement, culture is just a set of ideas that never turn into results.

Show Notes:

[03:41]#1 Culture follows enforcement, not intention.

[07:29]#2 Culture cannot compensate for weak standards.

[15:01]#3 Execution requires consequence, not alignment.

[20:17] Recap

Next Steps:

Execution is not a talent.
It is a standard.

If your results don’t match your ability, something in your approach is out of alignment.

Most people do not have a motivation problem.
They have a consistency problem.

Power Presence is the system for operating with greater discipline, clarity, structure, and execution under pressure.
