On today’s podcast episode, Kaliela Osha shares how women can tackle the career exhaustion gap and create a positive environment for their career growth and success.
Kaliela founded Brillie at the end of 2022 out of the clear need to create more gender diversity across workplaces and the observation that though the workplace gender gap starts at the beginning of our careers, there are currently minimal resources available for early-stage career women, primarily due to costs and accessibility.
To solve this, Brillie is democratizing access to professional training, coaching, and networks for women starting day 1 of their careers, to increase and accelerate their paths to leadership. Brillie also works directly with businesses to implement customized diversity initiatives to support their hiring, retention, and advancement of women.
WHAT KALIELA DISCUSSED:
– What the “career exhaustion gap” really means
– How societal expectations and gender roles contribute to the career exhaustion gap for women
– How women experience burnout differently than men
– Common signs and symptoms of career exhaustion and burnout, and how women can recognize them
– Navigating the pressure to “have it all” without sacrificing your well-being
– How women can better advocate for themselves and negotiate for better working conditions and benefits to prevent burnout and advance their careers
AND MUCH MORE
