Today’s masterclass, we discuss the importance of having a strategic approach to engaging with the world around you, often referred to as “being outside.” It’s all about being in the right place at the right time with a plan. 

Start by staying informed about what’s happening in your field and where it’s happening. The internet is a valuable tool for this. Next, invest in attending relevant events and conferences. When you’re there, be present – put your phone down and engage with people. Asking questions and genuinely listening to others is key. 

“Being outside” strategically means staying informed, investing wisely, making connections, and mastering the art of conversation.
