Benedict was the first pontiff in 600 years to step down. Now, his successor is the first sitting pope to preside over the funeral of a retired pope. An encouraging update on Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin, who collapsed on the field during Monday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. In a statement yesterday, the Bills said Hamlin has shown “signs of improvement.” other NFL players are rallying behind him, and we hear from a former athlete who suffered a similar injury.
