Tyler James Williams is a star on Abbott Elementary but he first blew up years ago on Everybody Hates Chris playing young Chris Rock. He’s a great comedic actor and a deep introvert and a very thoughtful person who loves to be alone with a book. We talk about acting and getting out of the child star trap and what it was like to have his police man father put him in handcuffs just so he’d know what it’s like.
