Trans Visibility with Leyna Bloom

Imara welcomes the incredible model, actor, dancer and activist Leyna Bloom to the podcast for a conversation about her groundbreaking work. Notably, Leyna will be featured in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, making her the first trans woman of color to appear in the yearly publication.

For Trans Joy, Imara welcomes Juniperangelica/Gia Cordova, Associate Director of Gender Justice Leadership Programs at GSA Network & Transgender Law Center, to talk about supporting young trans high schoolers of various experiences’ growth as leaders through “Truth,” and starting The Roses Initiative for trans girls of color.
