On the July 24, 2022 episode of Black Canada Talking™ our guest was Ketcia Peters.
Ketcia Peters is an entrepreneur and community activist with experience advocating at all levels of government and the non-profit sector. As the former Co-Chair of the Ottawa Police Community and Action Committee (COMPAC) she’s gained extensive experience advocating for bias-neutral policing.
As a Certified Trauma Informed Coach specializing in Race Relations with over 10 years’ experience Ketcia most recently, co-facilitated equity and inclusivity workshops for the city of Ottawa and has assisted in the design and delivery of anti-racism training in the community at large.
She’s the CEO of North-South Development Roots and Culture Canada and President of the Red Coalition, a federal lobbyist group.
