Ten Toes Down.

Stand 10 toes down,

and look this day in its face,

and look the world in its face,

look your problem in its face,

until you can hear the Silence that the Name starts in.

I look until I hear nothing,

and when I hear nothing,

I know I’m seeing nothing.

And then to remember that I’m seeing nothing,

I chant something.

And that keeps me knowing nothing,

thinking nothing,

and then the impossible happens.
