Subterfuge (Chapter 2, Part 7)

After the ruby pendant was inexplicably taken by Mal and Rhiannon, The Strong Thighs found themselves trapped in Jurgan’s Tomb, with no idea of how to leave. Suddenly the legendary hero rose from his sarcophagus, his cursed form now that of a giant skeletal being…with a mirror for a face. The party learned that Jurgan was tricked by Geldar and had been in this tomb for centuries. Their discourse also revealed that this tragic legend of the Great War was part of a secret radical plot, led by his girlfriend Elly, to defeat both factions of the conflict, Lloth’s underdark minions as well as Jurgan’s brother, Orin, and the surface folk, and to establish an area of land above ground for the Drow. Who apparently aren’t all evil? Who’d would’ve imagined that? 

Without his ruby pendant Jurgan was trapped in his tomb. But he informed the party that he could use his magic to send the Thighs to the location (well not exactly, just the same plane of existence) of the third artifact, Elly’s ring. Eager to leave, the party agreed, and were sent hurtling thru time and space. They arrived in a very strange place, a city full of weird technological wonders, called Bluudhaarn. seeing a familiar name, they entered into The Hell’s Oasis Inn…and got into a bar brawl with some racist cyborgs. After eliminating all threats like only the Strong Thighs do, the party fled the tavern, in attempts of avoiding any contact with authorities. But not before Lucky saw the image of Geldar on a strange, mounted scrying device. Wearing Elly’s ring. Things are getting spicy….
