Dr. Ogechi Egbujor, with her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University, hails from Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up in a loving Nigerian household, Ogechi's passion for storytelling led her to write short stories that celebrated diverse cultures. Together with Sana, she co-authored the Adventures of Ada series, aiming to show children that representation truly matters.
Sana Childers, a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee, developed a deep appreciation for black culture while growing up. Graduating with a BS in anthropology and psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), Sana's path crossed with Ogechi's, and they became not only co-authors but also lifelong friends. Sana's involvement with Sigma Gamma Rho INC. during her time at UTC ignited her love for community service and giving back.
