Y’all!!!! We had an amazing conversation with the brilliant and passionate, Latoya Shauntay Snell on the podcast this week. We talked body positivity, can you be healthy and fat (fuck yea!), challenges Black women face related to perceptions about our weight and health oh and who we liked better: skinny Luther, medium Luther or big Luther. (Not gonna be a shock to anyone that we prefer big Luther!) Latoya is a freelance chef, photographer and founder of RunningFatChef, a food-and-fitness blog that documents her experiences as a plus-size marathoner, ultra-marathoner and obstacle-course racer. Her personal narratives can be found on platforms such as The Root: The Glow Up, Huffington Post: Perspectives and Runner’s World. She has been featured on multiple platforms such as People Magazine, BuzzFeed Health, Self Magazine, Refinery29 and Women’s Running. Check her out on all her platforms: FB: @Running Fat Chef IG: @iamlshauntay website: www.runningfatchef.com/.
