GAHHDCAST VS Billboards Top Diss Tracks of All Time List podcast
In this episode (Intentionality comes with sacrifice), I begin my conversation with Aubrey as we discuss his journey in finding the right person and getting married.
We talk about the challenge men have in trying to balance prioritizing finding the right person for your life and getting your life set up or straightened out. We discuss how he navigated a long distance relationship as well as some of the benefits that come from being in that type of situation. We unpack the importance of living a disciplined life and having a person that anchors you in that and fits versus someone that pulls you away from it. We highlight the process of adjusting to your partner’s norms (and vice versa) and acknowledging when effort is being put in even if it doesn’t match what you want. We explore what it means to be a modern traditionalist and how people evolve even after you’ve been with the same person for a long time.
