In this episode (I gave her an ultimatum), I explore Allen’s journey to marriage and challenges that come with dating. I talk to a friend, who’s recently married after being engaged for five years, to uncover lessons learned.
We discuss navigating life’s transitions on one’s journey to getting married. We talk about how having a child impacts your calculus on getting married. Allen and I investigate why guys are scared to shoot their shot and the best places for singles to meet each other. We share different views on dating versus courting. We explore why people look for symbolic things, when dating, that don’t have a lot of meaning when it comes to marriage.
