Rolling Stone’s List Sucks

Iconic music publication, Rolling Stone, released their list of the Top 200 Hip-Hop Albums of all time this week and as you can probably guess it got people pretty upset. Between rappers, journalists, and fans alike everyone had something to say about this list. On today’s episode Kaz, Lowkey and Rosy break down why rap lists are always so controversial, take you inside the minds of what a lot of rap journalists tend to think when they are making their selections, and what albums usually tend to categorize themselves as “critical favorites.” The crew also discuss why  fans are triggered when rap albums released within the past decade are placed on these lists and why such “golden era” albums continue its untouchable reverence throughout history. And of course, the gang gives you their definitive list of the greatest Hip-Hop albums in history after a furious debate between the trio and an impromptu Verzuz battle.
