The North Carolina Elections Board is attempting to block Republican Congressman Madison Cawthorn from being able to run for reelection, over stating it was “time to fight” just days before the January 6 insurrection, and also speaking at the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally. Critics denounce the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, arguing it will strip protections from LGBTQ children, with President Biden calling the legislation “Hateful”.
