A model and female entrepreneur, Isaiah Sadberries opens up about the truth behind the modeling industry, being an independent and signed model and so much more💯💎
We open up about the standards of beauty in the U.S., lack of hair/makeup for diverse models and the inner and outer work it takes to be a model 💁♀️ & how she went against the norm by cutting off her curly hair even when agencies said otherwise🤞
Making a BIG decision in her Sophomore year of college, Ieshah dropped out to pursue her dreams in modeling. She was quickly signed by Maggie Modeling in Boston doing brand name shoots for companies like PUMA & then signing agencies like US Models NYC & Crawford Models eyes 👀🤯❗️📸
Coming from a tough love upbringing Ieshah learned how to take no’s- Ieshah has stayed motivated to keep getting better while still holding down jobs to support her art 💸
While on set- she realized that many of the stylist were not suited to do makeup/hair for P.O.C. This caused issues like straightening her hair or being made to look different skin shade than what she is.
Continuing to be versatile & get booked, Ieshah proved others wrong and exemplifies the motivation, consistency and time it takes to be more than a model ✊🏻
