In this episode, we’ll be diving deep into the complexities of the struggle for validation. Building on my previous reflection of envy, I will discuss my personal journey of seeking praise from others and how it has often stemmed from feelings of inadequacy.
As per the theme of the show, we’ll contrast these experiences with Biblical teachings; highlighting verses from Luke and Galatians that emphasize the dangers of prioritizing human approval over God’s purpose. Through the story of King Saul, we’ll be witnessing the pitfalls of compromising one’s identity and mission for the sake of pleasing others.
Today, I’ll be encouraging myself and all my listeners to shift our focus to God’s approval because there’s true fulfillment that comes from committing our ways to Him.
Let’s embark on this journey of healing together as we confront our feelings, seek truth, and lean on God for understanding. Tune in, and let’s get started!
